My dear friends of PLACE magazine put up some snapshots from Montreal where I’ ve spent this summer.
These and more photos from Canada can soon be found here. Enjoy!
When I was a kid I had a poster of Michael Mackrodt hanging in my room. Even today he is definitely someone I still look up to. He pretty much embodies skateboarding and globetrotting at the same time.
Many years later I was lucky enough to take a photo of him in the streets of Berlin which has now been printed in SOLO Skateboard Magazine.
This hurricane grind is part of a photo series called “blurred vision”. Also starring Alex Ullmann, Carsten Beneker and André Gerlich.
A couple of weeks ago the official release of “Aus Berlin Yearbook” took place in (of course) Berlin.
First of all I like the fact that I was able to contribute some images to the book. Secondly the pictures were set in chronological order and the book comes with some nice accessories like posters and shirts.
You can buy it here.
Germany’s finest Niklas Speer von Cappeln took a quite roundabout way to get in to this backtail that I ve taken last atumn in Hamburg.
Altogether a pretty respectable issue with a massive load of good skateboarding.
SOLO skatemag #9 came out earlier this month.
Among some others Valeri Rosomako got photographed for this issue somewhere on the streets of Berlin.
Valeri has a very unique style and a huge bag of tricks. Beyond that he is down to find and skate weird spots.
A great guy that you should meet in person.
German skateboard magazine parallel has just dropped their latest issue.
I was lucky enough to score another cover-photo which can now be found on my website.
Last month I received a parcel from the U.K. that had some copies of North Mag #09 in it.
My first Bronica fisheye photo luckily made it into this issue after more than three years.
